Welcome to E-Incarnation

Technology today is evolving at an astounding rate. Every year we are introduced to new and exciting electronic devices. Yes, the rate of evolution is nothing short of phenomenal. Just look at the computer hardware market for example, or the home appliances and mobile phone markets. This progression is inescapable. One has to keep up with the times or else risk being left behind.

However, there is a down side to this advancement. A very dire down side. As new electronic goods are introduced into the market, similar electronic gadgets that predated the newly introduced ones become obsolete. Obsolete electronic goods have no utility in today’s society and are disposed off - usually to a scarp collector/dealer(Kabadiwalla).

Most scrap dealers, unfortunately have little or no knowledge of the damage their careless and primitive recycling techniques have on the environment… irreparable damage.

The fact is, the scale of technological evolution will be proportionate to the scale of electronic extinction. Taking this into consideration, one can only imagine the toll on the environment if we continue this way.

The time for change is now. It is essential that we adopt eco-friendly E-waste recycling and disposal measures if we are to ensure a greener future for our children.

We need to act now. We need to act together.
